Capitol Hill Hotel is located in the center of the Capitol Hill Historic District, just 35 minutes from Dulles International Airport by car and 10 minutes from Reagan National Airport. The hotel is also a quick five-minute cab ride from Union Station and is one block from the Capitol South Metro Station (Blue and Orange lines).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO CAPITOL HILL HOTEL
Getting to Capitol Hill Hotel from the North:
Take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 495 South. Exit on Pennsylvania Avenue West and continue until 2nd Street SE. Turn left and hotel is one block away on the left corner.
Getting to Capitol Hill Hotel from the South:
Take Interstate 95 North to Interstate 395 North. Cross the bridge and take the left exit to Route 1 North. Turn right on Independence Avenue (second light). Pass the U.S. Capitol Building and turn right at the 2nd Street South East. The hotel is one block on the left at C Street.
Getting to Capitol Hill Hotel from the East:
Take Route 50 West to Washington D.C. using the Kensington Road/ Interstate 95 South exit. Follow Interstate 95 South to the Pennsylvania Avenue Exit. Follow Pennsylvania Avenue to the next light, turnaround. Follow Pennsylvania Avenue and turn left onto Third Street, then make a right on C Street.
Getting to Capitol Hill Hotel from the West:
Take Interstate 81 and exit on Route 66 East to Washington, D.C. Cross the Roosevelt Bridge and follow the signs for Constitution Avenue. Turn right on 7th Street NW and then left on Independence Avenue SW. Stay on Independence Avenue to Capitol Hill and turn right on 2nd Street SE.
GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORTS:
Directions To: Reagan International Airport (DCA)
Make a left onto C St. Turn right on 3rd Street SE. Turn right to follow I-395 South (towards Virginia). Continue on I-395 South and cross bridge onto Virginia. Take exit 10B, GW Parkway towards Reagan Airport/ Mount Vernon. Airport exit will be one the right (approx. 2 miles)
Directions From: Reagan International Airport (DCA)
Follow the ramp toward George Washington Parkway North. Merge onto George Washington Parkway North to I-395 North toward Washington D.C. Stay on the left and merge onto I-295 South until the 6th Street S.E./ Navy Yard Exit. Make a left at the first traffic light, 6th street. Turn Left on to D Street and then right onto 3rd Street. Turn left on C Street. Hotel will be one block away on the right.
Directions To: Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)
Make a left on to C St. Turn right on 3rd Street SE. Turn right on I-395 South towards Virginia. After crossing into Virginia, take exit 8 B/ Route 110 (Pentagon/ Rosslyn). Stay on left, follow the sign for Route 66 West towards Dulles Airports/ Fort Royal for approximately five miles. Merge onto VA-267 towards Dulles Airport Access Road.
Directions From: Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)
Follow Dulles Airport Access Road to Route 66 East towards Washington D.C. Take 66 East for approximately 5 miles and take exit for route 110 towards Pentagon/ Crystal City. Follow route 110 to I-395 North towards Washington, D.C. Cross into Washington, D.C., stay on the left and merge onto I-295 South. Follow I-295 South until the 6th Street SE/ Navy Yard exit. Make a left onto 6th Street at the first traffic light. Make a left on to D Street and then a right onto 3rd street. Turn left onto C Street. The hotel will be located on your right in approximately one block.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN WASHINGTON D.C.
D.C. Circulator:
Take the Union Station–Navy Yard Route and get off at the Independence Ave SE * 2nd St Stop. Walk South on 2nd Street towards C Street; hotel is on the corner of 2nd and C. Bus runs Weekdays 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Metro:
Take the Orange or Blue Line and get off at Capitol South Station. Hotel is one block away from Capitol South Metro Station. When you exit the Metro Station (by way of the Escalator), turn right on C Street and walk 1 block, the Hotel is on the left at the corner of C & 2nd Streets.
From Washington Dulles Airport by Metro:
To get to the hotel by public transportation, from that location you can take The Silver Line going towards Largo. Get off at Capitol South Metro, we are 1 Block away from Capitol South Metro Station. When you exit the Metro Station (by way of the Escalator), turn right on C Street and walk 1 block, the Hotel is on the left at the corner of C & 2nd Streets.
From Reagan International Airport (DCA) by Metro: From the Reagan International Airport to our hotel it will take approximately 15 minutes in a cab (depending on the time of day and traffic etc). You may also access the Blue Line train from that location (Blue Line going in the direction of Largo Town Center) and get off at Capitol South Metro. When you exit the Metro station (by way of the Escalator) make a right on C Street and walk 1 block, the Hotel is on the left at the corner of C and 2nd Streets. We are 1 block away from Capitol South Metro.
